WHO KILL MR IBU

John Ikechukwu Okafor was born on October 17 1961. Also known in the Nollywood movie industry as Mr Ibu . He is a comedian and actor from Nigeria. 

He has siblings but the only one known is her sister Queen Chioma Egboh .

John Okafo is from Nkanu west L.G.A Enugu state. Following the death of his father in 1974 Okafor relocated to Sapele to live with his brother after finishing elementary school. He worked odd jobs in Sapele to pay for his family support and education. After that he persued careers as hairstylist, a photographer and a crate manufacturer.

    He was accepted to Yola college of education after completing high school, but he was withdraw owing financial issues.

Later as soon as he could afford it , he enrolled in the Institute of Management and Technology (I M T ) Enugu .

He has acted in over 200 Nollywood production such as Police Recruit (2003) ,9 wives ( 2005) ,Ibu in Prison, Mr Ibu and son , Mr Ibu in London and so many more to his credit.

 Mr John Ikechukwu Okafor dabbled in music as well , he performed music for brief while he release the single "This girl" and " Do you know " on October 15 2020 .

Mr Ibu has three children with his wife Stella , two sons and one girl namely Emmanuel, Jay Jay and Chelsea.

Aside his children with Stella he have other kids including Jasmine Okafor from his previous relationship.

John Ikechukwu Okafor disclosed in October 2023 that he has a condition that might require him to amputated one of his legs . He claimed that while working with other Nollywood actors and actresses on a movie set he became aware of the issue .

In order to pay for his medical expenses he made a please yo his followers and the general public for money and prayers. As of October 18 2023 Okafor whole medical bill was covered by the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation. Which was founded by the former Nigerian Senate President. 

Mr Ibu suffered from a disease that necessitated seven surgeries and in November 2023 he had leg amputated.

According to his family the amputation was performed in order to prolong his life . 

Legendary comedian and actor is gone.
